... And the assembly is very easy:

On the engine: join to oil pressure switch by a  T-distribution head; oil return through the pipe nipple on the valve cover (as a consequence, the camshaft gets an additional lubrication) or through the oil inlet pipe stub and through the pipe nipple on the oil pan.

On the oil burner (not seen on the figure): between the burner and the filter (oil saving up to 5% with cleaning the tank).

Contaminated oil damages all engines!

Why are oil changes needed?

Due to the deficient sealing at the piston and the valves, combustion product residues and dust get into the oil. This is accompanied with abraded metal particles, contaminant particles from resins and paint materials in the oil generated by high temperature etc.

Does the oil loose its lubrication power?

Without TRABOLD yes. But, with TRABOLD filtering, the lubrication oil in the engine undergoes an improvement process leading to a proven higher lubrication power than that of even fresh oil.

Does the oil film break?

The oil film never breaks because of deficient lubrication power but it does because of its contamination and the overheating due to the low oil quantity.

What are the additives?

Additives are chemicals added to the oil in order to reduce oil sludge generation. They, however, do not remove contaminants but hold them in a floating position. Contamination remains in the oil cycle and causes a steady wear of the engine.

The advantages of the TRABOLD filter at a glance

The patented TRABOLD filter system makes the usual oil changing process unnecessary;
it is replaced by the change of the special Trabold filter cartridge every 10,000-30,000 miles.

  • Application of the TRABOLD filter system is eco-friendly, providing a significant contribution to the solution of the spent oil problem.
    It requires no oil changing, thereby reducing oil consumption. With the reduction of oil consumption, operational costs might be decreased upwards of 85%.
  • The TRABOLD filter system can be applied to any engine type.
    With the filter grade 10 the engine oil volume increases by less the half a liter (1 pint). It reduces maintenance time and the cartridge can be changed within minutes. The disposal of the TRABOLD filter cartridge is relatively easy, the material of its main components
    being biodegradable cellulose.
  • Conventional oil filters should be replaced at 65,000-mile intervals (because of aging).
    TRABOLD filter is more efficient than the conventional type. The TRABOLD filter cartridge removes floating particles down to the size of the order of 1/10,000 mm (1/10     m m). As a consequence, engine performance does not degrade.
    In addition, the filter cartridge absorbs water from the oil, stabilizing this way the lubricating power of the oil and preventing its acidification.

In the case of faults or damages caused by the application of the TRABOLD filter, operational and product warranty exists with the Allianz Versicherungs AG insurance company, covering damage liability for many years, for property damage, e.g., up to 1 million dollars per occurrence.
  • TRABOLD filter makes conventional engine oil changes unnecessary.
    However, in the case of significant variation in the state of oil, like oil thickening, thinning, overheating or accidental mixture of inadmissible materials, the oil should be changed and its compounds flushed out.
